Service Description
🚗 Driving Test Car Hire Package – Test Day Support (Experienced Drivers Only) This package is designed exclusively for experienced drivers who have already received sufficient driving tuition and are considered close to test standard, but require a vehicle for their practical driving test at short notice. This may be suitable where: • Your regular instructor is unavailable • A last-minute change has occurred • You require an emergency test-day vehicle ⸻ ⚠️ Important Requirement – Pre-Test Assessment Lesson Before any test day service can be confirmed, a mandatory 2-hour pre-test assessment lesson must be completed on an agreed date prior to your test. This session is used to: • Assess your driving standard • Identify any safety concerns • Determine whether you are ready to use the instructor’s vehicle for the test ⸻ 🚫 Instructor Discretion & Safety Policy The instructor reserves the full right to refuse test day service if, during the assessment lesson, the candidate is deemed: • Not test-ready • Unsafe to drive independently • A risk to themselves, the instructor, the vehicle, or other road users If this occurs: • Only the 2-hour assessment lesson (£95) will be charged • The remaining balance for the test day package will be refunded in full • The candidate will not be permitted to use the vehicle for the test Please note: Our instructors accept no responsibility if a student is unable to proceed with their test following refusal, particularly where safety concerns are identified. ⸻ ⏱️ Important Booking Advice It is strongly recommended that the assessment lesson is scheduled early enough before your test date. Cancellation Policy
Payment and Booking Policy Please carefully review our updated policy below: ⸻ 1. Online Booking Process • All lesson packages are now available to book online through our website. • However, no payments are taken online at this time (subject to change). • Once a booking is made, it will appear as “pending approval” until confirmed by the assigned instructor. Payment Methods To secure your session, payment must be made directly to your instructor using one of the following methods: • Bank Transfer: • Must be completed before the scheduled session. • Your instructor will provide bank details upon confirmation. • Cash: • Must be paid in full at the beginning of the lesson. Please do not submit payments until your instructor has confirmed the lesson. ⸻ 3. Receipts and Records • Instructors can provide invoice receipts upon request. • We recommend that both instructors and students keep records of all transactions for clarity and reference. ⸻ 4. Instructor Responsibility & Liability • All instructors operate under a franchise model with West London Driving School. • West London Driving School is not liable for any direct payments made between students and instructors. • Instructors are expected to maintain professional standards, honour booked lessons, and manage payments transparently. ⸻ 5. Cancellation Policy • For student cancellation a minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session. • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in the full lesson fee being charged. • While all driving instructors are encouraged to provide adequate notice for any cancellations, they are not strictly bound by the 48-hour notice period required of students.
